Twelve years of buen comer

On Calle Málaga, in the heart of the white village, La Bodega del Pintor has spent twelve years doing what its name promises — feeding people well. A vinoteca with paintings on the walls, live music in the evenings and a tiered back terrace where lunch stretches into sobremesa.

The kitchen stays open all day — raciones to share, meats on the grill, the costillar that regulars come back for. Locals at the bar, travelers on the terrace, and always a glass of verdejo within reach.

“A charming restaurant with truly delicious food! The waiters were so kind and warm — we recommend it without a doubt to anyone visiting the beautiful village of Mijas.”
